The Ammoudi Beach (don’t mix up with the port of Ammoudi) is not exactly a beach but more a small port. It can be accessed from above from the village of Oia. You can walk a bit more than 200 stairs or you can rent a donkey/ a mule. You will be rewarded by a splendid view on the caldera and the rock massif underneath. The beach is rather rocky but you can still lie there and bathe in crystal clear water.
